Biography

Mark Lippe

“After working for many years with several artists as a musical director, pianist and composer, I met my ‘partner in crime’ scriptwriter and director Johan Verheij. Our mutual passion for musical theater led us to bringing several productions to the stage.”

Mark Lippe studied piano, church organ, church music, choral and orchestral conducting at the Conservatoriums of Amsterdam and Rotterdam after which he completed his Masters degrees at the Conservatorium HKU Utrecht in 2005. Mark conducts several choirs and orchestras in Europe, teaches as a professor at the Concervatorium HKU Utrecht and is organist-titular at the Old-Catholic Cathedral in Utrecht. He also is active in chamber music as a pianist.
